Hi, my mom has been busy changing her mind again. She went and got fitted for her new breasts. She received her new bra and the prosthetic boobs that fit into pockets in the bra. After one day, she decided she didn't like them. Since then, she has been scheduled for surgery to get "real" breasts. The surgery is called 'trans flap'? (I think). They take muscle, fat, and skin from your belly, and make new breasts out of that. "A boob job and a tummy tuck on the same day? That Bitch", to quote a friend of mine at work. Apparently, it's an eight hour surgery with a 5 day hospital stay, and a 6 week recovery time. A friend of mine at work had it done to one breast 9 years ago after a mastectomy. She was perfectly pleased. Mom talked to her for awhile the other day. She's found a surgeon and had the consultation, the surgery is scheduled for the end of April. I'll keep you posted. love ya!
